By scotch I think you mean Rib Eye (in the US). If so the answer is a no.
I plan to try this cut in the very near future. Currently I am working on a primal New York strip (all 13lbs or 6.5kgs) that should be done in the next 7 days. Then maybe in a few weeks I will pick up a primal cut of a rib eye (aka scotch) and age that bad boy.
