Tanks for the warm welcome Ron. I left it alone and I now feel confident, that the bond is forming ok.
Bagged another piece of meat yesterday with a very good seal. For me good results is to have the snorkel vacum machine set to a seal time of 4. Wait for the second beep before releasing the preassure. Then wait another 10 seconds before opening the machine.
These bags are really delicate and require some practice. And you are quite right. It is better to practice on one bag instead of wasting four 😉
