Thanks for joining the forum! I understand what you are asking, but IMO you might be able to do what you asked, BUT only with another strip loin. I know that’s not what you wanted to do. Reason is a nice boneless rib eye sub primal is much thicker than a thin strip loin even after a period of aging. Air circulation is critical. Any chance you can keep peace with SWMBO by pushing your existing14 pounder a little further back and sitting other items in front? I call this the Kitchen Kamouflage! LOL! Ron
