I forgot to post the epilogue!
I hot tubbed that runt and then seared it along with the other larger steak which my wife and I shared. The “runt” I nibbled on when hot but managed to control myself as I love that better cold. I just slice a few thin pieces at a time, hit with some salt and savor the rich taste. I have managed to make it spread out for over a week now. Granted it may not be for everyone but again I challenge everyone to be open minded before they merely throw out the best!
