Shrinkage like that is to be expected as the moisture leaves and there often time are places where the bag is no longer in tact. That is nothing to worry about. Like wise the tiny white spots are bacterial spots that are doing no harm and you will be skimming them off when you do even light trimming. Relax – you’re fine! Ron
