Yes you do have a bit of trapped air, but no your meat is not ruined! You say you have examined the bag and found no holes so then you must have a bad seal after all. At 4 or now 5 days into the aging process what I would do is as follows. At a corner on the end you sealed take some scissors and cut a small hole just big enough to insert a drinking straw or a piece of tubing. Then before inserting it using your hands work as much of the trapped air out toward that hole. Then using lung power just suck out that air and quickly tape over the hole. A perfect vacuum is NOT needed. Your meat and the bag will continue to bond. Ron
