You’ll see a lot of online meat shippers that will only ship cured meat. If it were me and I spent all that time on it..I’d insulate the package (scraps of foam insulation or even some bubble wrap will do) and then why not go spend 90-cents on a cold pack and throw that in there? Certainly depending on where you live and what time of year it is, it’s not inconceivable that the package could get hot enough to render the fat globs you most certainly have in your sopprasseta.
Not sure if postal service allows liquid cold packs…you’d have to check into that.
