Following up: Over a month later and the chubs are almost done. 5 of them ranging from .656 to .679 and still progressing, none seem stalled.
Will probably slice one up next weekend if I can get down well below .65 and hopefully close to .6.
High temps are starting to eek over freezing but the arctic entry is remaining quite cold.
