Welcome aboard, Ed! With a properly working refrigerator you need not worry about nor measure the humidity. Either way either of the two refrigerators you mention should be fine. If I were you I definitely would go with that 4 year old in your cellar. There is no need to open and close it as long as it is working fine! Ron
