Sure, Tim – the only issue I see will be just how dry the meat has become before putting it into the new bag. I mean at 19 pounds that is a real chunk-o-cow and as such it probably doesn’t leave too much wiggle room getting it in the new bag and by not being wet you may have a struggle getting it in. My best advice would be to roll the new unused bag back over itself so when you place the meat in it is nearly already at the end of the bag. Then carefully roll the bag back over the meat. That make sense? If so or not please let me know!
I didn’t realize you were retiring, much less moving. I’ve been retired for nearly 15 years now and can’t tell you how much I LOVE it! Time passes quickly, so enjoy every day!
