The vacmouse fabric is there to create some gap where the air can actually escape from the bag while being vacuumed. If you misplaced or ran out of the strips, just use a piece cut from any other regular vacuum sealer bag in exactly the same way you would have used the vacmouse thingy.

Of course as Ron says, you don’t absolutely need a perfect vacuum. But if you do want to use the sealer and ran out of those strips, a bit of a vacuum seal bag works fine.
