OK…if I were you then since you already know where the meat came from…assuming it was still sealed in the cryovac bag when you brought it home…then in a couple more days, I would cut a SMALL hole in one corner and let that moisture drain out for like say an hour. Then place a good piece of sealing tape over that hole.
