Final: How to embed a picture in a forum article?

The “final” answer (final for me, anyway) is from the people in charge of the web and forum software. They say that only one image can be uploaded, although an article can be “built” using the “Edit” function, adding one image per edit session.

Nobody seems to know what the button marked [ i m g ] is for.
