Good job Ron, but I wonder why your not placing the clip directly into the snorkle proper. It doesn’t retard the air suction as far as I have noted here. And never slips out for me so far. But a good idea on the magnet too.
Here is another suggestion, if you can find some rigid clear plastic, like milk carton material, cut out a arrow head from it and see if it will do the same as the paper clip. Sanitize it first. Put the arrow shaft end inside the snorkle tip and whatever size arrow head you cut up against the meat. It will stay there until your sealing process is over.
