I had trouble with my first attempt big time, and that’s because I dried off the rib before trying. The second time went really smooth, and I think it just might also be because not only did I not dry it, but I also left the bag at its regular length. I did this by mistake and didn’t trim it first, but I had an easier time making the seals that leave the 3 inch strip, and I think with the snorkel farther from the meat, it allowed it space to draw more air before the bag sucked tight around the snorkel. I also messaged the air out, but try without trimming the bag, I felt it was a breeze that time, and got a great seal.
