Can model # V3840 be used?

Hello every body, new to thee forum . Have just started using umai products.. I have made lonza, coppa and others. I just bought that food saver model . Difficult to use if you are sealing a corner to make main seal smaller. I found if you open the top and stick the bag in and close the top it will seal automatically. Sometimes you have to move the bag around a little bit to get it to sense the bag. Bought it on sale. I wish my old one didn’t crap out
