My opinion only…..I have had both types of food savers. I like the 2000 series because i can physically place the bag where I want it. With the automatic sealer, I always had to fiddle with it…and a bit frustrating…but it can work. My first Capicoa was done this way and it turned out great. As far as the corner seal goes…I don’t see (or understand) any benefit in that. I have had no problem sealing the whole bag with a one-time vacuum and seal. Hope this helps.
