I have had many types of pellet smoker/grills. Most of the time a flame out in the fire pot is due from ash build up that snuffs the flame. Pellets that are not of good quality can cause this. My MAK II Star hated Traeger pellets as my Traeger hated BBQ’rs delight brand pellets. My GMG seems to like most pellets which is good.
If you still get to use the Traeger clean the fir pot of the ash, I use a small shop vac.
