Hi Carley, Eh…Hard to give advice as what you are describing is outside of our comfort zone. If the mold is white and dry, it can be just rubbed off with some cider vinegar, however if it is another color, it may indicate that things went wrong and danger lies ahead.
Sounds like there was a air circulation issue in your fridge which prevented the sausage from drying and mold started. We would advise extreme caution in this case.
