Thanks – FWIW … My first roast was very wet and I would not say that the bag ever really adhered. I actually vacuumed it a second time but it still loosened over time. The result was nothing short of excellent though. Got that good black bark completely covering the roast and the resulting cowboy steaks were some of the best I’ve ever had.
One thing I’m doing different on this one is using a chamber vacuum recently purchased instead of the external suction foodsaver units.
