So sorry to hear of your frustration. I wish you would have used your first bag as a test to get the hang of how your sealer would act with a UMAi Dry bag. I sealed and cut off and resealed my first bag 6 or 7 times until I learned rather than to waste my supply. There are so many different brands, let alone models of sealers on the market so it’s hard to say which ones will work this way or that way. As you have read you do not need a 100% vacuum. In fact you don’t even need a sealer! Just using a straw or tubing and lung power you can draw down a bag well enough and then seal it with a bread twisty.
