All,
I’ve had no luck imbedding pictures in my posts even with image tool on the toll panel of the message itself. Any pointers would be appreciated. I’m trimming a 44 day prime ribeye tonight and would like to share the results.
Regards,

OTOH PhotoBucket’s new format is causing many people nightmares – myself included. Tell you what…go ahead and reply with your link and let me see if I can open it, edit if need be and re-insert it for you…but keep your fingers crossed! Ron
PS I’m in a new learning curve myself as I just bought this iMac 2 weeks ago and even it posts in a different way than my also new iPad and both are different that the Microsoft PC I have used for years!

December 13, 2013 at 12:56 am #7544Ron PrattMemberHello Gary. Welcome to the forum! By your other post it sounds like you have quite a lot of experience that folks here would love for you to share. Don’t be bashful in answering questions! As for posting photos this forum does not host pictures, but you need a service such as the free one at PhotoBucket to do that for you. Then the uploading is quite an easy matter. Ron
December 13, 2013 at 4:54 am #7549Gary DeMarcoMemberI have installed photobucket but I am still not able to change my avatar or add show photos on my posts, can you help ??? Thanks Gary.
December 13, 2013 at 8:46 am #7555Ron PrattMemberGary…ok you are into PB – now locate the option under the picture(s) you want to post and then Copy and the line that starts with IMG. Now revert back to this forum and just hit Paste right there within the text body of your post. Give it a try and if need be that will give me a link so that maybe I can edit and repost your pictures if you say it is ok. Ron

BTW I’m just curious how do you measure the temperature in your pizza fireplace and how long does it take you to get to 900 degrees? Ever think of using lump charcoal instead of wood? Ron

December 13, 2013 at 9:23 pm #7571Gary DeMarcoMemberWe measure the temp on the floor of the oven and at the top inside the dome we embedded a temp probe in the floor and top of the dome an read the temp using a multi meter we upgraded th a lazer temp gun it is pointed at the floor or the interior dome and we get an instant temp reading.
